With a lightweight peer-to-peer client connecting to the Handshake network, Beacon offers fast block header syncing, on-device DNSSEC validation, and encrypted DNS support with Handshake naming. Users can access decentralized naming systems such as Ethereum through HIP-5 integration. Additionally, the browser highlights websites secured by decentralized DNS-Based Authentication with a "Secured by Handshake" indicator.
